Welcome to both summer and my first newsletter. Well, we are through Memorial Day and into summer. Hopefully you have had a chance to get out and make it to the boardwalk for that first sausage sandwich of the summer (yum). Warmer weather is upon us and now it is time for cookouts, BBQ's and get togethers with family and friends....hooray summer!!!!
Most of your doctors have already told you to keep active, keep moving and keep healthy. To help you with that goal, I have attached this article with some handy tips on health, fitness and nutrition. Personally I am a big fan of this concept. I have always tried to stay active be it doing Ironman triathlons, training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or a round of golf with friends....keeping active has been a consistent part of my life.

The Federal Government has announced a cut to the Medicaid rolls. If you are a dual eligible member (Medicare/Medicaid) we may need to sit down to chat about your options if you are receiving letters and phone calls about losing your coverage.
For my savvy shoppers out there or anyone looking for a deal on dining and other local places, here is a link to score some nice deals for things ranging from dinner to a car wash.
If you know anyone who is new in your neighborhood and is Medicare eligible, give them my number and have them give me a call. They may have a Special Election Period and may be eligible to switch their Medicare plan.
